Osmanthus heterophyllus ‘Goshiki’
Usually mistaken for a type of holly, Osmanthus are compact, evergreen shrubs grown for their attractive prickly foliage. Their common name is the Holly Olive.
Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii ‘Profusion’
The red, orange and yellows of the season are all too fleeting, so how wonderful it is to be surprised by the colour purple at this time of year.
Malus ‘Evereste’ (Crab Apple)
I often use crab apples in planting schemes where a garden can accommodate a small to medium size tree.
