December Plant of the Month
A bushy evergreen perennial with dark reddish purple leaves that withstand the winter weather. Particularly eye-catching when in flower in spring and early summer as the acid yellow-green flower bracts contrast dramatically with the dark foliage.

Compact, up to 60cm high, this is a short-lived perennial that works well in a container as well as the border. Sun or part shade.
Note: harmful if eaten and a skin irritant. All euphorbia exude a white, sticky latex-type of sap that can cause a rash.
