A really lovely phlox that is beautifully fragrant with strong, compact growth to a height of 70-90cm.
Plant of the month
Each month I choose one of my favourite plants relevant for the season. So many to choose from, so little time...
Geranium pratense ‘Summer Skies’
Hardy geraniums are some of the most useful ground cover plants for summer borders.
Cirsium rivulare ‘Atropurpureum’
A handsome, thistle-like plant that’s a magnet for bees. Its ruby red flowers are held on top of tall branching stems in May through to July.
Tulip ‘Apricot Beauty’
Apricot petals with a delicious tinge of pink that radiate warmth and elegance. You can tell I like this tulip!
Clivia miniata (Natal lily)
March is usually a very yellow month with cheery daffodils and forsythia in full bloom. Orange flowers are harder to find, unless you head indoors that is.
